7 GitHub shortcuts you should be using

GitHub has a whole keyboard layer most people never find. Seven shortcuts in sixty seconds, each keystroke rendered on screen by a HUD the skill injects into the page during capture. No post-production overlays.

  • Keystroke HUD, injected live. The key pill and URL readout are drawn inside the page at capture time, so they sit in every frame without an editor.
  • Real app, real repo. Shot against github.com browsing the React codebase; every payoff (permalinks, github.dev) is the genuine article.
  • Jump-cuts over dead time. Page loads and transitions are skipped automatically, which is how seven shortcuts fit in sixty seconds.
  • Scene-timed narration. Each shortcut holds on screen exactly as long as its voice line runs.
